ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Herbie's Burgers is set to open its sixth location in the former McDonald's space in Empire State Plaza. Owner Nicholas Warchol confirmed the news to NEWS10. The Office of General Services (OGS) said the restaurant's franchisee chose not to renew the lease. At that time, OGS said they had a new food vendor lined up.The Herbie’s menu features different types of burgers (including vegan), fries, and milkshakes. Warchol said the menu in the Empire State Plaza will be a little different from the other locations, as they'll also be offering breakfast and cafe items. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three arrests have been made in connection to a home invasion near Elberon Place and South Lake Avenue, with one suspect being charged with attempted murder. On Wednesday, November 29, around 1:05 p.m., Albany Police responded to a residence near Elberon Place and South Lake Avenue for a reported burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers said a man claimed four people entered his home, displayed a gun, and robbed him. Officers found an 18-year-old shortly after with a gunshot wound to his left leg on the 300 block of Myrtle Avenue. He was treated on the scene and taken to Albany Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the 18-year-old, identified as Chauncey Compton, was involved in the incident and was shot by another suspect involved too. Molina will become the new "special assistant to the president of baseball operations," according to an announcement Wednesday from the Cardinals via Twitter. Gore announced his candidacy for the St. Louis Circuit Attorney in the November 2024 election. A Redondo Beach woman was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for bilking Medicare out of $24 million for unnecessary repairs to medical devices like power wheelchairs.Tamara Yvonne Motley, 55, who also uses the name Tamara Ogembe, was sentenced and ordered to pay more than $13.1 million in restitution on Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release.Motley was convicted in June of 20 counts of health care fraud, two counts of aggravated identity theft and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.For more than 10 years and through a pair of medical equipment companies registered to her out-of-state relatives, Motley used her role as "de facto owner" to submit "fraudulent claims for medically unnecessary durable medical equipment – mostly power wheelchairs (PWC) – and PWC repairs, many of which were never performed," the DOJ said.
